New Cast of Jersey Shore, Deena Nicole Cortese
Who does not know Deena Nicole Cortese. Deena is the new addition to the cast of the hit reality TV show Jersey shore. 23 year old Deena Nicole Cortese, a former cheer leader at Brookdale Community College and is actually the first cast to be from New Jersey.
She joins "Sammi Sweetheart "Giancola as the only other cast member of the reality show that's actually from the Garden State. The 23 year-old Cortese hails from New Egypt in Ocean County.
Last month, several paparazzi shots of this new mystery girl began to flood the web as she was seen with various cast members in Seaside Heights as shooting was underway for the show's third season.
The buzz is that Cortese will replace departing "Shore" cast member Angelina Pivarnick. "I bring a lot of energy to the house," Cortese told the Associated Press. "All I want to do is play games and have a good time."
Ah, but can she keep up with the likes of original cast members Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino, Jenni "J-Woww" Farley, Ronnie Magro, Giancola, DJ Pauly Del Vecchio and Vinny Guadagnino.
The show's record-breaking second season is set in Miami's posh and trendy South Beach, and currently airs Thursdays at 10 p.m. on MTV.
Sources close to MTV told TMZ that Cortese will be appearing in a number of episodes during the third season as a replacement for Angelina Pivarnick, but isn't considered a "permanent" cast member just yet.
